What information we collect and how we use it

I collect the minimum amount of personal information in which to allow me to ensure that I am providing a safe treatment and giving you the best experience that I can. This information is collected from you directly; I will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside of my business. I will ask each individual to complete a client consultation form to ensure that there are no contra-indications and that your treatment can be carried out safely. The information collected will relate to personal contact details, your GP surgery, pregnancy status, allergies and your medical history. By providing this information, I will assume that you consent to me collecting this information prior to the treatment going ahead. The information obtained on the client consultation form will be stored for 7 years after your final treatment and then confidentially destroyed. At each visit, I will ask you to sign to confirm there have been no changes to your client consultation form answers, or I shall ask you to complete a new form. This is to ensure that I keep accurate records and am able to maintain a good level of service, carrying out treatments safely for both you and I. At any time, you can request a copy of information stored about you.

How long we keep information

Your information is kept for 7 years after your final treatment, after which time it is confidentially destroyed.

How might we contact you

Appointment confirmations and reminders:

I will contact you via phone, email or SMS with a booking confirmation and to send an appointment reminder. I assume that by booking the treatment, you have consented to this, however you can opt-out at any time.

Appointment ratings and reviews:

After your treatment, I may send you an email or SMS asking you to rate my treatment(s) and provide feedback. You can refuse, or opt out at any time.

Marketing:

I may occasionally undertake email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for me to do so; you are able to opt out at any time. The marketing campaigns may be automated and may be based on treatments and products purchased in the past and information that has been collected from you. For example, I may send marketing campaigns related to your birthday, the fact we miss you (if you have not visited for 3 months) and other special days like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. You may opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.
