Booking Policy

Deposits

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from the total owed at the end of your treatment(s).

A deposit is taken in an effort to prevent 'no shows'.

Cancellations

The 10% deposit is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice. Please contact me via email or the Contact page to request this.

If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the deposit will not be refunded.

If a client repeatedly late cancels their appointments, they may be refused further appointments.

Consultation Form

A consultation form is required before any treatments can go ahead. This is to ensure that the treatment(s) can be carried out safely. This is completed at the time of the appointment, or may be emailed to you beforehand. Please answer this honestly with as much information as possible. If you are concerned that the treatment may not be able to go ahead, please contact me via email or the Contact page beforehand.

Contra-Indications

A contra-indication is a specific medical condition, symptom or circumstance that makes a particular treatment inadvisable because it could be harmful, dangerous or life-threatening to the client. These are often identified in the consultation form completed prior to treatment(s) and I have tried to list some of these on the treatment pages on this website.

Contra-indications don't always mean that a treatment cannot be carried out. It may mean that a treatment needs to be adjusted, for example, certain areas may need to be avoided.

Please note that massage services cannot be performed on those who are pregnant during their first trimester.
